I found inspiration for this pretty flower girl in a photo by Lacey Steward in the Free Reference Photos for Artists page on Facebook. Her hands were posed perfectly, I felt she needed to be holding flowers. As soon as I finished this one, I was inspired to do a series of Wildflower paintings.

Medium: Painted on Arches 300# watercolor paper with Brusho® Crystal Colours in beautiful shades of sandstone, grey, blue, and yellow, with a pop of pink and lavender. This piece is mounted on a cradled wood panel and framed in a beautiful bronze-tone floating frame.
