This is the third in a series of Wildflower paintings. I had already named the first two “The Bride” and “Flower Girl” so it is fitting that she is called “Milk Maid of Honor”! The moment I saw this gorgeous longhorn photo from David on Pixabay, I wanted to paint her!
Medium: Painted on Arches 300# watercolor paper with Brusho® Crystal Colours in beautiful shades of sandstone, aquamarine, yellow and emerald green, with a pop of orange and pink. This piece is mounted on a cradled wood panel and framed in a beautiful bronze-tone floating frame.
