"The Sacred Circle of Dance" was inspired by a Ballet called "Dreaming of Degas" choreographed by Janys Antonio who was director of CSUSB'S University Dance Company in the 2020 Show "One Last Dance". It happened to be her last year as Director and this was her last choreographed Ballet for the Company. She had been part of this outreach program for nearly 30 years. I had covered her company in Photography and Film work of which I was so honored. When COVID hit the meaning of the title of this show was all that much more impactful. Not knowing when the company will be dancing together again I was inspired to capture this beautiful moment of Janys Antonia's Ballerinas in their "Sacred Circle of Dance."
