Cordorniz is the Native American word for Quail. This wonky bison skull is named for the Travelore Quail Embellished Broach that inspired this design. I found this wonky skull at Clear Creek Trading in Sedona and fell in love with his slightly imperfect horns. I always love to work on skulls that are interesting, and when I spotted this one I knew I had to add it to my collection. I love working on a "canvas" that is slightly imperfect. I find society's emphasis on perfection irritating and love it when I can point out one of god's creations that is special simply because it is not perfect.
