This is another framed abstract mandala piece, centered around this gorgeous moon-shaped stone I found at a shop in Door County, WI. The shape of the stone did not seem to lend itself to mounting on a skull, because of the rounded bottom surface, but I loved the colors, so wanted to utilize it in a piece. I beaded out from the center moon shaped stone with layers of czech glass beads. The abstract mandala design is mounted on genuine distressed cowhide and placed in a vintage frame.
