The gravel road in this painting leads to some land that we farm near Rivierre Que Barre in Sturgeon County, Alberta. The narrow river/creek is flanked by the trees that are depicted in the distance and there is a quaint bridge that crosses this waterway. It is a most lovely location in my opinion, and contains an incredible amount of diversity and inspiration. A great spot to get away and enjoy nature for a bit. Sometimes, I will drive the 10 or so miles just to do so!
