Older than time itself, these members of the earth's crust have witnessed the dawn of every age. They are a foundation to this planet and the life that resides on it. They tell their stories to any who care to ask. I have been inspired by a particular grouping of rocks that were picked from our fields over the years and now reside in my flower gardens. Arranging them and then observing how the garden adapts and settles around them and how the light transforms them into even more interesting forms has been a wonderful discovery for me.
