I was filled with reverence by the grandeur of his majestic poise, adorned in tribal attire. Splendor, pride, and dignity emanate from him. I was, and still am profoundly touched by his photographic presence, knowing he lived during a period when Native Americans endured significant injustice. The Jicarilla Apache was photographed by Edward Curtis circa 1905.
