“Change | Working with Resources” envisions a state of harmony in which resources are accessible and shared equitably, a model of functional, collective progress. The yellow wheel at the center symbolizes community, prosperity, and well-being, its rotational symmetry suggesting ongoing motion and collaborative decision-making. The child, representing education, is positioned within the wheel’s form, protected from external pressures and underscoring the importance of nurturing growth. An inclined horizon and minimal graphics convey a sense of organization, improvement, and upward momentum.

Part of the MyPOP (My Print on Poverty) collection, this work investigates social mobility and the contradictions between idealized prosperity and lived experience. Through symbolic imagery and layered composition, the series challenges stereotypes of poverty while offering a vision of balance, access, and shared advancement.

The surface is coated with a malleable wax texture, symbolizing both preservation and transformation. Distressed collage elements are used as storytelling tools; representing barriers overcome, shifting structures, and the evolving pursuit of equity.
