Atmosphere is the title of the set of works. This series is more related to painting where I work in depth on a wide colour palette and its diversity of shades. This need for a chromatic explosion arose at the beginning of the pandemic during the first confinement. It refers to a need to ultimately feel a vital impulse. The colour permeates the paper structure creating a chromatic atmosphere. He tries to play with the light that he receives, filtering it, shading it, generating infinity of chromatic nuances which vary depending on the angle from which the work is viewed.
The works are made up of infinity of paper units with which I cover the entire surface of the painting. The pieces of paper as scales are fitting, superimposing and overlapping to compose a three-dimensional fractal structure related to the idea of fractal. This way of working on paper was inspired by and by the scales on the wings of butterflies and the way in which chromatic effects are generated that can create various colours depending on the way in which light is reflected in a microstructure of the surface of the paper. the scales.
The composition of the work does not have a main point of view, which makes the viewer’s gaze run like a dance over the entire surface of the work without anchoring itself in a specific point.
