SPECTRUM #4
Series: ATMOSPHERE
In SPECTRUM #4, color unfolds in all its diversity, creating a vibrant universe where each hue interacts with the next in perpetual motion. The work is composed of countless washi paper units, cut like petals and arranged one by one in a three-dimensional spiral collage, transforming the surface into a constantly rotating organism.
The chromatic explosion and its delicacy remind us of butterfly wings.
The swirling composition creates a chromatic whirlwind effect: the colors seem to flow, blend, and transform before the viewer's eyes. From up close, the uniqueness of each element is perceived; from a distance, the entirety manifests as an atmospheric field of light and movement.
As in the entire Atmosphere series, the work invites us to think of color not only as a pigment, but as a vital atmosphere: an expansive force that envelops the space and transforms it into experience. The gaze never rests on a single point; it dances, shifts, and discovers new vibrations, as if witnessing the unfolding of an infinite spectrum.
SPECTRUM #4 is, ultimately, a celebration of multiplicity: of the richness of color, the energy of the organic, and the movement that beats at the heart of matter.
