Sitting on the banks of the Seine while soaking in the sun is a Parisian past time. The quays allow the visitors to walk along the river. Their presence helps to illustrate the scale of these trees and buildings. Often these trees that have been planted on the quays create wonderful shadows as seen from the water. Using a limited palette and Impressionistic brushstrokes helped me to create the mood that was inspiring me.
