This work visualizes the transfer of physical world to digital world. Sneakers are placed at the bottom of a light array that bounces light off the wall behind it. Because the light array is angled, the closer each light gets to the wall the more focused the colors become, until at the very top the colors are separated into light pixels. The color of the lights are ‘sampled’ from the shoes below.

What the viewer sees is a person who is in the process of becoming digitized. Their body has become pure light and is floating up into pixels. The light array acts like a scanner that has processed and teleported almost all of the person leading down to their shoes.
