A projection of a lightswitch turning On and Off appears coordinated to the On and Off of a real lightbulb. The suggestion here is that the ‘virtual’ projected switch controls the ‘real’ physical lightbulb.
The Lawnmower Man references the early 1990’s film that ends with a human uploading his conscious to the Internet. At this point the virtual controls the real.
The lightbulb and switch turn on and off in a pattern, using Morse code to spell the artist’s name.
