A sliver of light glows from the gap at the bottom of a door; shadows move. The viewer thinks that there are people walking on the other side, however, there is actually nothing there. The light is generated from a strip of LEDs integrated into the bottom of the door, which plays a video of the artist and his studio assistant walking behind a fictional door. The sculpture blurs perception and reality, generating a false sense of space beyond the artwork and reducing what appears to be an entire person into a mere strip of light.
