I'm often lurking around secondhand or antique shops near my neighborhood, and a few weeks ago this old lure caught my attention—see what I did there? It's probably been quite a few years since it's gotten wet in search of a fish... the paint is chipped off a bit and the hooks a a little rusty. But it's found a new life as a model in my studio. This is my first study of this beauty, and I'd bet it'll find its way into a few more paintings.
