Commerce, GA: Historic Wrangler Mural Restoration (2024)
For this project, I recreated a historic mural from the blue jean factory in Commerce, Georgia. The building has undergone extensive renovations as it transitions to city offices and event space. I visited the site with the Commerce Mainstreet Manager before the wall was removed to take measurements and reference photos of the original mural.
I recreated the Wrangler graphic to scale on a metal warehouse door salvaged from the basement of the building. This project is part of ongoing historic preservation efforts by the city of Commerce. It will be placed in the new public foyer of Commerce City Hall after renovations are completed.
This mural is approximately 4 x 8 feet.
