Whitney Print
This block print is part of my Queens series of portraits. It is an acknowledgement of the strength and individuality inherent in every woman. Whitney is a close friend, classically trained musician, and fitness coach. She builds and repairs oboes in her workshop and works on racecars with her husband. Her beauty and personality are multi-faceted and her kindness boundless.
Whitney is an exuberant and self-confident woman. Her music is simultaneously beautiful and haunting. Her multi-faceted pursuits are an inspiration to us all, proving that societal molds are meant to be cast aside, discarded, and ignored. We are capable of forging our own paths and contributing to lives beyond our own.
