I ran out to the beach one morning after I saw a gorgeous rainbow over the Gulf. I spotted this Willet walking along the shoreline and stopped to watch him forage under the surf for a meal.
Gentle waves rolled in behind him. We stood about 10 feet apart and he was not interested in me, just walking in and out with the waves and searching for a bite to eat. He was unfazed by the rainbow behind him. (see the photo in the gallery)
