“Blooming Harmony” for me was reaching far outside my normal way of painting. It is mixed media using markers and other tools that were new to me at the time of this painting, something I did on a whim experimenting with techniques that have now become part of my normal method of painting. It is amazing what happens when we open ourselves to something our mind has shut out before. It makes me ever more aware of the influences of the abstract, the unknown, the mysterious things yet before me to be explored.
