Some of you may have noticed that my favorite color is turquoise, so when I found this tulip fabric in teal I was thrilled. I couldn’t wait to make another of my Courthouse Steps type quilts using light, medium and dark values. I’m constantly reminded of these beautiful flowers which come in so many variations. Making this traditional piece gave me lots of joy and I still get great pleasure when I look at it in my quilt inventory rack.
