An abstract artwork inspired by my art quilt Africa Two, I wanted to create another version but using the African themes. The design has a surreal composition of geometric shapes, bold lines, and vibrant colors like deep burgundy, navy, soft beige, and purple. Abstract animal figures resembling elephants and leopards are woven into the composition. Playful, organic forms and dotted patterns surround the images. The overall style I tried to create is kind of whimsical and imaginative, blending fluid lines with angular, fragmented shapes in the manner of Miró. It still feels like a dreamlike landscape reminiscent of African savannahs.
