My spirit guides are apparently North American native Indians because I frequently hear drumming when I design and sew something. In this case, I designed a whole collection of this theme with a drum in the middle. I was going to sew down each arrowhead and as soon as I attached the center line with a braid type ribbon the batik triangles stood up and had a life of their own. All of them did the same thing so I decided that I would not force them to be attached but allow them to be free. The background fabric is a hand-dyed cotton, and the purple pieces are batiks with gold a gold design.
