Even as I was painting it, this work beamed me into vacation. Directly, immediately. To water and sea, with a salty breeze in my hair. It was a very specific day that came to mind, a few years ago on La Gomera. Indescribably light and free, slow, lost in thought, just absorbing the surroundings, enjoying the sun, the sound and that special taste of the sea in the air. I think (and hope!) everyone has a day like that...
