I remember well when the first painting in this series (this one) was created. Very spontaneously, I didn't have a plan, I simply grabbed the paint bottles and started.
And I was delighted with the result – clear, structured, powerful, dynamic. I love the rich texture of the paint, the powerful brushstrokes, the "stacked" colors. So of course I started another one, trying to repeat this in another format.

The stacked effect was also what inspired me to create this title: It reminded me of ice cream balls in a waffle cone. And in a figurative sense, I see it as the joy of life, the enjoyment of good things. Be it ice cream, a glass of good wine, an evening with friends. That's what life is all about.
