For me, this extra large abstract painting is essentially about water. It captures the feeling of things that are waiting to be found under the surface—new and undiscovered worlds.

Measuring 160 x 160 cm, this original work on raw canvas plays with the tension between depth and light. The composition is defined by a strong contrast: the upper half features bold, greyish-blue brush strokes that suggest the weight and motion of the deep sea.

Against this heavier atmosphere, I placed splashes of bright turquoise and yellow. For me, these colors are a perfect, happy match. They break through the darkness, symbolizing the vibrant life and hidden treasures that emerge when we look deeper.
