This mural was commissioned as part of the Art Beat mural program in the 2024 Joondalup Festival.
The artwork embraces the simple everyday task of always learning. Whether it is the interest given to others to understand, research through reading and experiences, history, or learning through the want and need to improve, all aspects and styles of learning are valuable. This piece is intended to create a fun, friendly and inviting entrance to the City's library by subtle retro styled images, shapes and texture effects, while using an enjoyable nature-based colour palette to compliment the building’s architecture as well its nature in the shire's landscapes.
