Artist's statement: I wanted to get the feeling of a strong sea breeze as we have the good fortune, to experience along our coast and into the City of Joondalup. Sometimes we may complain about it but this artwork is intended to celebrate the JOY of the WIND. A lino print seemed the appropriate medium as expressive lines unexpectedly remain after the cutting away. I have chosen to produce an artwork in a circular format as this seems to make the view more intimate and often a coastal scene is viewed through binoculars or a telescope.
