This painting was first exhibited in 1998 in her solo exhibition "Landmarks" at Perth Galleries. "The images in this exhibition depict landmarks in the area where I live, and further afield in France."

A picture about a ‘working’ port constructed in mainly sombre tones contrasted sharply by the rusty red of the ship along the dockside. Mills paints the ship and its surrounds with a kind of nostalgia, very conscious of always looking west and being on an isolated continent.
