Radium Films Corps distributed European films to Argentinian audiences. In 1937, it was taken over by Isaac Argentino Vainikoff, who changed the name to Artkino Distributors.
A silent French film produced by the Pathe Brothers, accompanied by music. In this instance, the poster indicates both sacred music and choral accompaniment. The original 1902 film, "La Vie et la passion de Jesus-Christ" was rereleased in 1905 under this title.
The 1930’s Argentinian re-release of the highly successful French production by Pathé of The Life and Passion of Jesus Christ (La Vie et la passion de Jesus Christ), released in 1903. The film presents tableaux, divided scene by scene, of the highlights of the Gospel stories. Originally released at a length of about thirty minutes, it eventually was expanded to close to forty-five minutes, making it one of the first feature films.
