Based on an image taken during drives around the Rogue Valley in Oregon, where my sister lives. The way the layers of hills sloped up gently and receded into the distance conveys a sense of geologic history to me. The farm outbuildings at the edge of the field provide scale and human presence. Collage materials are from various vintage Japanese books.
