Located on Green Lake in Seattle, based on an image from one of my stand-up paddleboard outings. Being ON the lake vs. on the path NEXT to the lake is an entirely different experience and perspective; it was a balm for me during the pandemic, when the paths were full but the lake was empty. It was like stepping into another world, so peaceful, especially during the foggy mornings in fall. Collage pieces are from the Japanese Noh play entitled “Matsukaze”; I have a fun story to tell you about it if you’re interested—next time I see you.
