Around the edge are therapy notes given to me by a young art therapy client. This describes her sexual abuse and how she was trying to grow in spite of it. In the center is a tree trying to grow. The title, "Spottie, Sweety Pie " comes from the names of her dogs, which gave her comfort. Surrounding the tree in the middle of the print are people with saws trying to cut the tree down. The tree is growing in a lush green area with a white fence in spite of the harm around it.
