This copy revisits Deák Ébner’s lyrical depiction of a rural road lined with wild mallows, where two women stroll in quiet conversation. The work combines naturalistic detail with a light-filled composition. By studying this painting, I explored the plein-air tradition in Hungarian art and its delicate harmony of figure and landscape.
