The trombone player in The Preservation Jazz Band strutted across the stage like a rooster. His playing was magnificent hit high notes and very low, as he extended the slide to its maximum length. He and his fellow musicians brought so much energy to the stage and such incredible music you could feel the electricity pulse through the audience. Smiles were pasted on all in attendance. My goal in Showin’ Off II was to bring that tremendous energy to you through my painting. I hope you feel the joy.
