There's nothing that brings a smile to our faces like a parade and New Orleans has parades down to an art. They hold parades in the French Quarter frequently. This parade was during the French Quarter Jazz Fest and definitely done up right. I loved the colors of the people in the parade and always love painting musicians. The man with the umbrella just had to be included in my painting celebrating the joy of the moment.
