4C Exhibition Program
What is the 4C Exhibition?

4C means "for Conceptual Art （观念艺术）， for Contemporary Art（ 当代艺术）, for Chinese Community（中文社群）”。

The 4C Exhibition is a monthly group exhibition plan, and each selected artist can get a one-month art exhibition, publish in a magazine, and get an opportunity to interview and report. The purpose of 4C Exhibition is to provide a pure land for Chinese artists and audiences in the gap between Chinese culture and American culture, and to nurture their own cultural soil. Let outstanding Chinese-speaking artists have a professional art platform, and promote their artistic status to the height they deserve.

According to the artist's works, we will provide each selected artist with a exhibition wall of up to 9×10 feet, 90 square feet, so that artists can exhibit their works in series. According to the arrangement of the venue, the panels will select 6~10 artists to participate in the exhibition each time, and will formulate the best display plan for each artwork.

In addition, in order to help global artists to participate in the exhibition without barriers, 4C Gallery can also provide works production services, such as giclee printing, mounting, etc., by taking advantage of its own workshop.

Who are we looking for?

We welcome artistic creations in all artistic media. (including, but not limited to painting, printmedia, sculpture, photography, video, sound, fiber, installation).
We focus on Chinese Community.Our audiences are mostly native speakers of Chinese. We require all the statements(artist statements and artwork statements) are in Chinese. And bilingual texts in both Chinese/English are highly recommended.

​How to submit?

For Artists:

Email the following materials to [email protected]. The subject of the email is: "exhibition name, artist name" (For example：4C EXHIBITION 2023Q1, Lisha Chen）. The subject of the email according to the format is very important. If you do not fill in the subject according to this format, it is very likely that you will miss the review.

No more than 6 images. Each image limited to 15MB and name each image in the following way (Artist Name_Artwork Name_Dimension). If it's time based art, please send a link of the video. Please do not compress your files. If the files are too large to be sent by one email, please send them in two emails.

An artist's statement (The artist statement is required to be in Chinese, and it is recommended to be bilingual in Chinese and English). Submit by document files, such as word, docs.​

Payment Proof of non-refundable $25 art review fee, no exhibition fee. (only for group exhibition) You can pay by Zelle to "[email protected]", or on our website on your personal computer.
