This is the second painting I did that helped me loosen up my brushwork. The process for this painting was the same as the first painting. I started out with an underpainting of burnt sienna, ultramarine blue, and gamsol and let that dry. After the underpainting dried I went in with the colors. The first thing I did was look at my reference photo and tried to mix as many pools of color I could see. When I got my pools made it was easier to paint this scene.
