In mid 2018, I was asked to design and illustrate a print for a new range of bike wear. It was to be a celebration of Australian flora and fauna and contained galahs, gumnuts and leaves... Geraldine is one of those galahs. Whilst the illustration was finalised on the computer, Geraldine has been brought to life with thick acrylic paint, intense colours and lots of fine details. She is happily perched on a branch and surrounded by gumnuts and wiggly leaves. Please take the time to view the close up images to see the intricate details.
