Living on acreage in the beautiful Redlands, QLD, I am surrounded by several ghost gums. Once a year, they loose their bark to reveal a fresh new ghostly trunk covered in swirls left by insects. Our gums are home to some of the local Rosella population, who have made their home in a hole left by a fallen branch.
