My studio is in a bush setting and I am surrounded by large trees and several times a day white cockatoos fly over screeching to their mates. They like to hang around and make a lot of ruckus which makes me smile. Whilst I am inspired by these birds, my cockatoo Candice isn't a regular white cockatoo, she is full of colour and swirls of thick paint. Her feathers are made up of aqua, pink, lime green and magenta. On the top of her head, are fiery flames of reds, golds, oranges and yellows.
