Before the busy Christmas school holiday period, the husband and I shot up to Rainbow Beach for a few days of relaxation. Our camp site was on the edge of the water at the start of Carlo Creek and we were surrounded with a variety of large trees and sat with our toes in the sand.
This artwork is an abstracted version of the view from our site across the water to the bushland over on the other side. The colours not only tie into the shades of the sand, water and vegetation but they portray how relaxing and soothing the holiday was.
