Australian Aurora Burst

This artwork started with a dark turquoise and silver blended background and the idea was to create a burst of colour emerging from the darkness. Loosely inspired by the shapes of an aurora light show, I choose a bold Australian themed colour palette of aquas, yellow greens, pure yellows, australian greens, blues with splashes of oranges and gold plus hints of other complementary colours added in the fine details.
