“Embrace of Autumn” is a classic grouping of trees lit up with autumnal colors. Over the years I have learned that when a spot looks like the leaves have peaked in color, you have to capture that image immediately. True peak color can last for only a day, or even less. The exposed front side of this group of trees provides a little more access to seeing the tree trunks, and the range of colors is what drew me to this particular set of trees. The reflecting stream in the foreground is an addition, not unlike other spots I have visited and painted all around Northern Vermont. “Classic Vermont Foliage” would serve as an alternate title.
