Süße Früchte, duftende Blumen und das Summen der Insekten. Für mich ist das der Inbegriff der wunderbaren Fülle des Sommers!
Die Vielfalt und Perfektion der Natur ist meine Inspiration. Bei der Gestaltung dieses " Foodpattern " haben mich die Farben geleitet. Ich habe die Kombination von Grün und Magenta schon immer geliebt.
Um ein " Foodpattern " wie dieses zu kreieren, suche ich als erstes nach meinen " Stars ". In diesem Fall waren es die reifen Avocados und der duftende Flieder.
Meistens erstelle ich eine große Anzahl verschiedener Fotos, von denen ich mehrere auswähle. Aus ihnen kombiniere ich dann das eigentliche Gemälde.
Ich beginne mit weichen Pastellkreiden (z.B. Unison, Terry Ludwigs, Schmincke und Sennelier) und trage am Ende die feineren Strukturen mit Pastellstiften auf. Meine Finger sind das wichtigste Werkzeug, um die verschiedenen Schichten zu erzeugen. Selten verwende ich Wischer.
Mein Papier (Lennox100 von Legion Paper) ist auf einen 3,5 cm dicken Holzkorpus geklebt und das Bild spannt sich um die Ecken des Trägers.

The diversity and perfection of nature is my inspiration. When creating this "food pattern", colors guided me. I have always loved the combination of green and magenta.
To create a "food pattern" like this, the first thing I do is look for my "stars". In this case it was the ripe avocados and the fragrant lilac.
Most of the time I create a large amount of different photos, from which I choose several. From them I then combine the actual painting.
I start with soft pastels (like Unison, Terry Ludwigs, Schmincke and Sennelier) and apply the finer structures with pastel pencils at the end. My fingers are the most important tool in creating the different layers. Rarely do I use wipers.
My paper (Lennox100 from Legion Paper) is glued to a wooden corpus of 3.5cm thickness and the painting stretches around the corners of the support.
