Fruits of Labour

This 12 x 12 inch oil on gessobord is still wet and is another in my new series which I have tentatively named today as Divorcing Monet. Now I think I know. Now I am leaving him or rather I am stepping out on my own and shifting my intentions - just every so slightly. Oh I still love to paint light. I will likely still seldom worry about form and values. But I have discovered something more and it works for me. But like any separation, it takes time to find ones balance on their own. So more about this later. In the meantime enjoy today's quick study.
