This sculpture is named after the little cap on the gum nut that covers the ends of the Eucalyptus flowers. They fall off and the flower bursts out into full bloom. When I'm walking, I notice these delicate flower covers all over the ground. There are as many different shapes and sizes to be found as there are different Eucalyptus.
