I've never been able to feel good about a piece I've used a lot of red as the dominant color, but I have to say this one I got lucky. This is a multilayered abstract collage made from many different patterns and using a red, cold, navy, bright teal, some purples, some magenta, bright yellows, and full-bodied orange. It's got many areas to gaze at that will capture your eyes and they flow on and on this 48" wood panel slowly just to look at the detail and the design in the entire piece. Everywhere your eyes go, it will look completely different.
Using, mirrored pieces, stones, and a variety of different glass pieces or rods, this has plenty of texture throughout. With each new resin layer, new collage pieces or glass were added giving a 3D look.
Pay close attention to the mosaic cutout sections. I used what I consider to be the very best products when it comes to adding sparkle and ink tinted resin.
There is ultra-fine silver holographic glitter dust, and white glitter dust mixed with a pale transparent red tint to coat the mosaic portion.
This was all set on gallery cradled wood panel and can be hung horizontally or vertically. No frame needed with natural wood sides or you might want to purchase a lovely floating frame to set this masterpiece in. But it's gorgeous with just exposing the natural wood sides.
