This diptych ended up exactly how I imagined it in my head. I'm in love with these in every way.
A little about the piece, the color palette is yellow shades, golds, silver, orange, reds, pinks, & a touch of blue.
4 parts to this diptych - two 4x4 inch canvases w hand-cut collage pieces in triangular-shapes & layered onto canvas & outlined in silver, gold mirror leaf w resin adding texture & dimension.
Stacked on top of two 6x6 inch gallery cradled MDF panels to create a beautiful, bright background in transparent yellow resin ink, ultra-fine micro silver & gold glitter dust that can be seen from many angles making it glimmer/sparkle nicely but subtlely to highlight the collage colors.
Sides painted in silver.
Finished w 2 layers of resin for that perfected glossy, glass-like, clear shine.
