The most prevalent colors in this piece are many shades of blue, green, silver, teal, white, and a hint of yellow is the color palette for this piece.
There are many layers involved. I spent a lot of hours being extremely tedious to place each piece of glass, collage cutouts by hand, and resin between each new addition.
This piece will make a HUGE statement in any room its placed.
To create this masterpiece, I used a collage technique and added other mixed media and articles for a dimensional and textured look.
Also introduced cutout pieces from previous alcohol ink artworks I saved having this vision in mind. Other items are crushed glass, mirror glass, glass bottle ringlets, glass rods, and resin. I used a glass bottle cutting tool, a hot/cold water technique to create the glass ringlets. With each new resin layer, new collage pieces or glass were added.
Pay close attention to the mosaic cutout sections for a subtle light blue transparent tinted resin mixed with, ultra-fine silver holographic glitter dust, and white glitter dust for sparkle in these two sections.
The substrate used is a 48"x12"x1.5" gallery cradled wood panel and can be hung horizontally or vertically. No frame needed with natural wood sides. This is one of my favorite pieces I've ever made. It's truly a magnificent piece.
All of my larger artwork will come with a Certificate of Authenticity.
